In 2019 Ariane Rauschek brought her passion for digitization and extensive leadership skills in IT-services and infrastructure measures to Max-Planck-Society. As head of division 2, including the departments construction/infrastructure and information & communication technology, she currently also promotes digitalization and streamlining administrative processes, in cooperation with vice-president Klaus Blaum. Since spring 2020 she co-chairs the Society’s presidential committee “climate protection” and together with her peers focuses on reducing CO2 emissions in construction and replacing business travel by video conferencing.
