Lecture Series: Sustainability and Environmental Research in the Max Planck Society

Virtual lecture series by MPG reseachers on topics of environmental relevance

For whom: For everyone with an interest in sustainability and science in general, but without expertise in the research area presented. The lectures are open to the public, i.e. also not only MPG affiliates.

Who is talking: Max Planck scientists present their own and relevant research from their research area. Topics are chosen in the fields of ecology, environmental sciences, earth sciences and other environment-related topics. Where appropriate, perspectives on the ecological impacts of their own research area, specific characteristics, challenges and/or possible ways to address them will be provided.

Discussion: Gladly! We would like to discuss with you, (i) questions about the presented research, (ii) which implications does this have for future developments, (iii) whether some of the findings can be translated into action to make our research environment more sustainable and (iv) your questions.
